WARREN, NJ – Warren Township residents will see a decrease in municipal taxes according to the $20.2 million budget unanimously adopted at the last meeting of the Warren Township Committee.
“The Township Committee along with Mr. Krane have worked very hard to reduce our taxes,” said Warren Township Mayor Mick Marion to TAPinto. “Not an easy objective nowadays. As I’ve stated before, we practice a three year planning process to lighten any tax impact on the residents while providing the best services we can. Having a AAA bond rating by multiple agencies is proof that our process works.”
Residents will pay about $10 less per $500,000 of assessed valuation.
“Although the Municipal Budget accounts for only 15% of our residents total taxes, the Township Committee and Township Administrator have proven again to be laser focused on fiscal responsibility, said George Lazo to TAPinto. “It’s this commitment that continues to earn Warren Township a Triple A Rating with Moody’s and Standard & Poors”.
